Data Analyst – PowerBI expert (move to Kelowna, B.C. is required)

Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent Data Analyst with intermediate to advanced level PowerBI and SQL Server skills in addition to having experience with corporate ERP systems.  As a potential candidate you have worked 3 or more years as a Data Analyst and are an expert when it comes to analyzing datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and you are experienced in providing actionable insights that can inform business strategies and drive decision-making.

This is a full-time, permanent position, requiring relocation to the Kelowna, BC area.   The work schedule can be 100% onsite or a hybrid, BUT this is not a remote position.

• Are a Data Analyst who excels in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using best practices
• Have experience implementing well designed, efficient, and reusable data solutions such as reports and dashboards using business intelligence best practices, ensuring the solutions meet the needs of stakeholders
• Have intermediate to advanced level skills when it comes to Power BI, Power BI Report Server and Service, and SQL Server.  Your experience also includes working with a variety of systems and processes including corporate ERPs

As a member of the IT team the Data Analyst excels in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using best practices.  As a detail-oriented person your experience includes developing and maintaining monitoring reports, dashboards, and deployment pipelines and ensuring that they are running efficiently, diagnosing, and correcting errors when discovered; ensuring that they are optimized for performance.

• Are authorized to work in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status)
• Have 3 or more years professional experience in a Data Analyst role and you are committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with new technologies and trends
• Have intermediate to advanced level skills when it comes to Power BI, Power BI Report Server and Service, and SQL Server.  Your experience also includes working with a variety of systems and processes including corporate ERPs
• Have a certification or degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Have intermediate to advanced computer skills across the MS Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and OneNote.
