Design Technologist – Wall panel, Floor and Truss -MiTek (move to Prince George, BC required)

This full-time, permanent (not contract) career opportunity is for a Designer experienced with MiTek software in the wood frame design of wall panels, floors and trusses. Relocation to Prince George, BC is required. Some relocation assistance can be discussed.

• Have 3 or more years of wood frame design experience, preferably of wall panels, floors and trusses using MiTek software.  Design experience with larger homes and 4 to 6 story buildings, is an asset.

As the ideal candidate you have at least 3 years’ wood frame design experience using MiTek software.  You enjoy training other team members, on the use of MiTek, and your passion for ensuring complete accuracy of drawings and design integrity is an integral part of your commitment to drive customer satisfaction.

You…

• Are authorized to work in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status)
• Have an Engineering Technologist Diploma in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering
• Have a driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Are able to travel, on occasion
• Are proficient in the English language (oral and written)

Salary range: $75K-$85K / year
