Financial Analyst- CPA required (move to north central B.C. req’d)
As the ideal candidate for this full-time, permanent position, you are a Financial Analyst who already has your CPA (Canadian or Canadian recognized) and at least 5 years working experience with increasing financial responsibility. Ideally, your background is industrial and includes forestry or related manufacturing experience.
Under the direction of the Controller, you will be responsible for the financial management including preparing financial statements, cost reports, reconciliations, and financial analysis, while developing and maintaining internal controls to mitigate asset risk.
This full-time, permanent career opportunity is based in the north central area of B.C. and relocation is required.

- Already have your Canadian CPA (or Canadian recognized) (Must Have) and 5 or more years experience, as a financial analyst, with increasing financial responsibility in an industrial, production environment e.g. forestry, manufacturing, mining, upstream oil and gas, etc. (Required)
- Have experience with strategic planning and finance. Your experience includes preparing monthly statements, in accordance with GAAP, financial planning and budgeting, analyzing financial statements and reports, highlighting any variances in revenues and expenses compared to Plan and forecasts

- Are legally authorized to work in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status)
- Already have your Canadian CPA (or Canadian recognized) (this is a requirement)
- Have a minimum of 5 years as a financial analyst, with increased financial responsibility in an industrial setting (industrial production experience required, forestry preferred)
- Have experience with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) prescribed by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA)
- Have exceptional organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI and Microsoft Business Central
