Financial Analyst (Treasury) – CDN CPA & Manufacturing required (move to B.C. req’d)

This full-time, permanent career opportunity is based in the city of Prince George, B.C.  Relocation is required and some assistance is offered (this is not a remote position).

As the Financial Analyst (Treasury), you will already have your Canadian CPA, 4 or more years experience in an industrial production environment and experience with ASPE accounting standards.   As a member of the senior team, you will actively participate in management meetings, reporting on matters specific to the Finance and administration department, the overall financial results of the organization, raising financial issues or risks, and working collectively to resolve issues.

  • Already have your Canadian CPA (Must Have) and 4 or more years experience, as a financial analyst, with increasing financial responsibility in an industrial, production environment e.g. manufacturing, forestry, mining, upstream oil and gas, etc. (Required)
  • Have experience with strategic planning and finance.  Your experience includes preparing monthly statements, in accordance with ASPE, financial planning and budgeting, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis
  • Have supported the management team with analysis of investment decisions including sustaining and development of capital projects….This role might be for you!

  • Are legally authorized to work in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status)
  • Already have your Canadian CPA designation (this is a requirement)
  • Have a minimum of 4 years as a financial analyst, with increased financial responsibility in an industrial setting (industrial production experience required)
  • Have experience with ASPE accounting standards
  • Have exceptional organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI and Microsoft Business Central

Salary range: $86K – $108K
