Instructional Designer/eLearning/Instructor, BC

This is a fantastic, 100% onsite (not remote) career opportunity for an Instructional Designer experienced in preparing instructor led and LMS (Learning Management System) ready training materials for a highly regulated industry e.g. finance and banking, telecommunications, natural resources, oil and gas, mining, transportation

This position is based in the central interior of British Columbia and requires relocation to the area.  This position is 100% onsite, for the first 6 months, and then could potentially allow for a hybrid schedule (up to two days from home).

• Have been responsible for assessing requirements, evaluating, reviewing, and working with subject matter to gather course material
• Have been responsible for preparing instructor led and LMS (Learning Management System) ready training materials on a wide variety of topics and technical subjects in a highly regulated industry e.g. finance and banking, telecommunications, natural resources, oil and gas, mining, transportation
• Are an effective and dynamic teacher or facilitator when it comes to in-person, virtual training, or OJT (on-the-job training) sessions
• Are technically savvy and highly proficient with course authoring applications (e.g. Articulate, Composica, Captivate, Lectora) and Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., Adobe Acrobat (or similar)…This role might be for you!

You….

• Are authorized to work for any employer in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship, Permanent Resident)
• Must have an instructional design / development background
• Have formal qualification / education in adult learning e.g. PIDP (Provincial Instructor Diploma Program) or similar
• Are highly proficient in – Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., Adobe Acrobat (or similar)
• Are highly proficient in course authoring applications (e.g. Articulate, Composica, Captivate, Lectora)
• Have excellent presentation and communication skills and a strong command of the English language (verbal and written)

Salary Range: $67,500 – $84,500 annually
