Payroll Advisor

Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent Payroll Advisor experienced in managing complex payroll operations for a workforce of 700-1,000.  This position is full-time, permanent and will require relocation.

• Have at least 4 year’s Canadian experience managing complex payroll operations for a workforce of 700-1,000 in a 24×7 natural resource or manufacturing environment e.g. forestry, energy, oil and gas
• Have supported HR and payroll functions, including the maintenance of records and updates related to employee compensation
• Have excellent knowledge of relevant Canadian payroll regulations and procedures
• Are highly proficient with various software programs e.g. payroll software, SAP HCM, Dayforce,  Microsoft Office Suite ….This role might be for you!

• Are legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship, permanent residency)
• Have a post secondary education in business/accounting or human resources (preferred)
• Are a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) (considered an asset)
• Are very proficient with technology e.g. Microsoft Office, payroll software, SAP HCM, Dayforce, etc.
• Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in all payroll-related tasks, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate integrity
• Are proficient in the English language (verbal and written), with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must have a driver’s licence and vehicle
