Red Seal Instrumentation Technician (move to southern interior of B.C. req’d)

This full-time, permanent career opportunity, is based in the southern interior of B.C.  Relocation is required and assistance is being offered (this is not a fly in fly out or camp position). 

As the ideal candidate you are a Red Seal Instrumentation Technician with at least 2 years of working experience in an industrial environment.  This position is a 7×7 work schedule.

You…

• Are authorized to work in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status)
• Have 2 or more years’ Instrumentation Technician experience and your Interprovincial Red Seal certification (Must provide a copy)
• Are experienced installing and troubleshooting 600V variable speed drives and motors
• Are experienced with distributed Control System and PLC programming
• Are familiar with Toshiba Drives, ABB Software, Singer Valve, and Rotork Valve maintenance
• Have a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Must be clean shaven
• Must pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing

The mine has evolved into a mature and highly efficient operation with a long term mine plan and significant opportunity for mine life extension.  This position includes a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package.  This is not a camp position.  Relocation is required (some assistance is offered).

Hourly rate: $51
