Journeyman Electrician – (industrial maintenance experience)

Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent Journeyman Electrician experienced with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems in a manufacturing environment.  The position requires relocation to a small town 3 hours north of Edmonton, Alberta and relocation assistance is offered.

• Are a Journeyman Electrician with maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Have broad electrical experience which includes preventative maintenance, as well as installations and upgrades, working on a variety of motors, hydraulic motion controls and encoders (Must Have)
• Have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and are at ease interpreting schematics and understanding technical manuals

• Are legally authorized to work in Canada (e.g. Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status)
• Have 2 or more years’ maintenance experience, in a manufacturing environment and a valid Journeyman Ticket (Must provide a copy)
• Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
• Thrive within a diverse workforce and have a proactive approach to continually look for improvement opportunities within the operation
• Are proficient in the English language (oral and written)
